Day 3's Outlook
Good Morning,
Last night we stayed in a barn behind a fire station. This morning, we woke up to snow, one of the problems associated with sleeping at an elevation of 3600 feet. However, we hope to complete the next couple hills and be at or below sea level by this evening. We will keep you posted on our progress, and we wish you the best...

Good going guys. Each day will hold a new vista of adventure.
What a great cause. We were glad to be able to provide shelter behind our fire house. Good luck with the rest of your adventure - from the crew at the Pine Valley (CA) Fire Department.
Hey guys.....when you can, throw out some street names and landmarks so we know where you are....I will be getting a map and logging your progress on my office wall. It will be replacing my St. Louis stuff. Hope you are doing well and staying safe.

Kev,
Firefighters are always welcoming especially to other firefighters and their families. Tell them that your brother-in-law is one from Eugene and maybe that will help. Also, try to get some t-shirts and addresses and we can send them some back. I know you are limited on space so if you don't I'll understand. Keep up the good work and my thoughts are with you. Take care of yourself. Tracy
